Spelling In 6th grade we have our spelling tests every 3rd day. We meet on Gold days. On the first day is our Spelling Pretest, second day is practice activities, and 3rd day will be review and test. Reading The 6th graders will be reading from several different novels, and reading a lot of different genres of stories. They will also have a DEAR time (Drop Everything And Read). I will also read to them at the beginning of each class from a variety of Chapter books.
